Julie and I have only lived in the Independence Park, Old Irving neighborhood for a couple of months now and our biggest hurdle so far? Thai Food. We came from Thai Food rich Lincoln Square where the neighborhood teemed with delicious Basil Chicken, Pad Thai and Pot Stickers. But, I must admit, we have tried four new Thai joints since June and have gone back to ordering from our old faithful in Roscoe Village. No More!!! Welcome Hot Woks, Cool Sushi. We ordered online last Friday and could not have been more pleased. Delicate balance of sweet and spicy. Chicken that wasn't over cooked. Perfect Pot Stickers. Heaven. Anyway, if you live in the area and haven't given this place a shot because you have given up on ordering Thai food, give them a shot. I doubt you will regret it.
